continuous projects.

GUEST BATHROOM
Guest House bathroom
Mazzi's bathroom

The next project was the scraping and restaining of the wooden guest house. It is now called the black house. Gene didn't know the stain was so dark but it was dark walnut and once he started he couldn't go back. We hope it will fade out with time, but at least the wood is well preserved. The next project was the sanding and restaining of the front porch on the guest house. It looks so much better now and I have room to put some potted rose bushes there.

We fumigated both houses for vermin and termites. That was a really a hard job packing everything up and pulling all the plants away from the house. We then cleaned both chimneys. We heard that this winter was going to be a wet one, so we are so grateful we were able to get all these jobs done before the storms hit. Now for the indoor projects. We started on Kim's bathroom down stairs. She designed it all and what a good eye for style she has. One wall is purple, Mazzi's favorites color. She is a Twilight fan. Here are a few pictures.

Our next bathroom to remodel was the guest house. Last summer Dawn remodeled her master bedroom and it looks like a spa with a big glass enclosed shower. We love using it but the guest bathroom need much repair. while ripping off the flooring we found two big holes. A lot of work went into tearing off and replacing everything. Adam our son came up from Texas to help Gene Demo and put in the tile work on all three bathrooms. Our other son Jared who is a plumber did all of the plumbing. We are so blessed to have so many craftsman in our family. Here are more pictures of the guest house bathroom. Rachel and Dawn did all the decorating in the guest house bathroom.
