Juni 18 & 19, 2010 In the office and shopping in Frankfurt

Just a normal day for us. We still love our new jobs and Bad Homberg. It is a beautiful city with yellow flax fields all around us. We even have a cheery tree in the front of the office. The town is very old with large parks. We are still waiting to move here, but we have mixed feelings about it. There are advantages of being in both places. Frankfurt offers easy access to anywhere in Germany, but the city is very hectic as all of you know who live in Los Angeles. Bad Homberg, on the other hand, offers respite from our fast moving life here in the Warehouse. Within 10 minutes you can be walking in the forest along there many paths. They say you can even find wild berries to pick and eat. Speaking of our office, as you can see I finally brought my good old USA flag in to put up along side of every other country up there on the wall. I am not really following the World Cup because we have no TV. We just hear the results the next day in the office. I hear the US is doing pretty good.

Because my husband is super active, on Fridays, we always go into the City and get a braut. We Looked around Frankfurt and a little suburb called Bornheim. We found some cute shops with children's clothing and beautiful bedding. Can't buy anything, unless I want to ship it home when we leave. It's 10 PM to us but 1PM to you so it's bedtime for us chickens here. Tschuss

  1. Way to represent mum! I can't believe you live in such a beautiful place. Now you see why I was too excited for you to be sad about you leaving.
