14 May 2011- Butzbach-Munzenburg-Arnsburg

We slept in this morning until 10:00 AM when our neighbors, the Paxton's, said it was time to get up and go some where. Elder Walter's planned the day for us. First stop was Butzbach, 25 miles from Frankfurt going North. We were delighted to find a charming town of all half timbered buildings. I took lots of pictures.

There is a landgraves castle here but we did no see it. The US army used it until 1990. Many of the buildings have quite a history, but will not go into that, as we have a full day to talk about.

We did do a little shopping and I bought 2 pairs of shoes which were much needed. The market place was charming and it was fun just looking in all the shops. Spent only an hour or so here, then on to Munzenberg Castle.
