Up early and a tour of Dresden, another beautiful town. Diane said by far the most impressive cathedral was the Frauenkirche. She remarked how simple and tastefully decorated it was. I agree, the statue of Christ at the alter shows him as if ascending into the clouds. This is a Christian church, so you see Christ more as a resurrected personage rather than Christ on the cross. The entire town is magical with singers and musicians on every corner. Talk about the restaurants, they were excellent. While we were eating outside, I had a feeling we should go in immediately. As soon as we did, it rained so hard the big umbrella over the top of us completely collapsed. Thank you Heavenly Father for the tender mercy. It was another day for lots of walking but we had to rush on to our last place to see. DRESDEN
