07-08 Jul 2011 Girls in Budapest/Deliver Cabinet

Well did we have a big surprise for the girls this morning. Bro Walker our first line Supervisor asked us if we could deliver a huge microfilm cabinet to Budapest. We jumped at the chance since that would be an opportunity to let the girls see Hungary. We took them to the train station and sent them to Budapest. They would get there about the same time we would, only we would be driving. Does that make any sense?

We arrived at the hotel about 1 hour before the girls did. We found a good Hungarian/Italian restaurant, is that possible? Whatever it was, it was good. We went back to the hotel and went to sleep as we are old people you know but the girls stayed up late and got the feel for Budapest at night which is hopping by the way. It has so many lights on and every store is open until well after midnight. They were tired the next morning, but we had our job to finish, so we put them on a tour bus that stopped at various places and they were set for the day. We met up in the evening and took a cruise on the river Danube. We had never done that before and we were able to see the buildings for a totally different angle. Most of the pictures we took were on this cruise.

The next morning we had a best breakfast as you can see from the photo, then we checked out of the Hotel and did some shopping before heading off for home which took us by another beautiful City that they were able to see.
